Happy Mondays
I think that we started feeling something moving in the air, and it was this energy from the people, it was so fresh like anything was possible. We said we have to make some noise that captures this energy and puts people into another realm. We started making music for the album Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)...1987. We met up with John Cale and he helped us make this album what it is. He understood our energy and how we were sick of clinch faced twats making music and ruining the world. We had The Hacienda to let loose and let the people hear it all. We just flew from there. It was time ya know...but had nothing to do with time if you get me.- Shaun Ryder
